How to play GoLottoGo
GoLottoGo lets you pick numbers and buy tickets. Your numbers are compared to official state lottery draw results. Picks that match the draw earn a payout. Picks that don't get 5% Cashback. Here is how it works.
The 4-step process
From choosing your game to confirming your ticket.
Choose your game and Playstyle
Pick the game you want to play:
- Pick 2, Pick 3, Pick 4, or Pick 5
Then choose a Playstyle:
- Straight: match the digits in exact order. Highest payout.
- Boxed: match the digits in any order. Better odds, smaller payout.
- 50/50: half your purchase plays Straight, half plays Boxed.
Choose your Play Position
By default, your number matches all digits of the draw. To match only certain digits, choose a different Play Position:
- Front: the first digit of the draw
- Mid: the middle digit of the draw
- Back: the last digit of the draw
- Split: non-adjacent digits (for example, the first and the last)
Pair, Triple, and Quad positions match two, three, or four digits and apply in larger games. The full set of positions for your game shows on the Your Gameplay step when you create a ticket.
Pick your numbers and draws
Enter your numbers using:
- Type them in 123 or 1-2-3 format
- Quick Pick for random numbers
- Wheel to generate multiple picks
- Favorites to replay numbers you have saved
Then choose the state draws and dates you want to play (today, tomorrow, or a date range).
Review and purchase
Review your numbers, states, dates, and total cost. Click Purchase Ticket. You will see an on-screen confirmation, and your ticket is saved in your history.
Key rules to know
- Cutoff time: enter your play at least 15 minutes before draw time (ET).
- Passed draws: if a draw you selected has already passed its cutoff, you will be asked what to do with that draw. You can roll it over to the next available draw date, exclude it from your ticket, or cancel the popup to go back.
- Multi-state play: you can play the same numbers across multiple states in one purchase.
- All sales final: once your ticket is purchased, selections cannot be changed.
After you play
- Your tickets are saved in your Ticket History. The purchase appears under Transactions in your Wallet.
- Winning picks are paid after the draw is graded, and Winnings Balance shows how much of your balance you can withdraw.
- Losing picks receive 5% Cashback, added to your playing credit after the draw. See the Cashback section below.
- Use Play Again in your history to replay numbers quickly.

5% back on losing picks, added automatically after each draw.
* Cashback applies to your losing picks in a purchase. If those picks cost less than $0.20 on a draw, 5% comes to less than a cent, so nothing is credited. See our Cashback guide for full details.
Quick tips
- Use Quick Pick for fast, random plays.
- Check the cutoff time so you don't miss a draw.
- Review carefully before purchasing. Selections are final.
- Save numbers to Favorites to replay them quickly.
